Pike County Court offers civil wedding ceremonies for couples seeking a simple, dignified ceremony in a courthouse setting.

Officiant: Judge Brewer
Ceremony Length: 5-10 minutes
Location: Pike County Courthouse

Requirements:

• Valid Mississippi marriage license (must be obtained prior to ceremony)

• Both parties must be present with valid photo identification

• Ceremony fee (contact our office for current rates)

What's Included:

• Exchange of vows

• Exchange of rings (optional)

• Official pronouncement of marriage

• Signing of marriage certificate

• Certified copy of marriage certificate

Scheduling Your Ceremony:

Available Times:

• Monday - Thursday: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

• Friday: 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM

• By appointment only

• No ceremonies on court holidays

Schedule at least one week in advance to ensure availability.

What to Bring:

• Completed marriage license

• Valid photo identification for both parties

• Payment for ceremony fee

• Wedding rings (if desired)

Marriage License:

Marriage licenses must be obtained from the Pike County Circuit Clerk's office prior to your ceremony. The license is valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
